October Faith Formation Update

Hello Families,

Praised be Jesus Christ!

Happy Fall! I hope this finds you all well and enjoying the fall weather.

All our Faith Formation and Sacramental Formation programs have begun. If you know of people who are not registered for Faith Formation or one of our Sacramental formation programs, they can still get in without being too far behind.

October is Pro-Life month, and month of the Holy Rosary.

The church teaches that life is sacred and that we are to support life from conception until natural death. To learn more on what the church teaches about life see the Catechism of the Catholic Church #2258-#2317

Throughout October we will pray for all people with a special focus each week.

1-8: Unborn

8-15: Children and Teens

15-22: Young adults/Adults

22-29- Senior Citizens

The rosary has been very much a part of what it means to be Catholic. But it's more than just a bunch of beads and Hail Mary's. The Rosary is truly a weapon of faith that helps us grow in relationship with Christ and His Blessed Mother, as well as helps us grow in holiness. As a family try praying at least one decade of the rosary each day during the month of October for life (see above). If you can pray an entire rosary as a family, go for it! To learn more about the Rosary go to https://www.rosarycenter.org/

Popular Saint Days in October

1: St. Terese of Lisieux; 4: St. Francis of Assisi; 5: St. Faustina Kowalska;          15- Theresa of Avila; 18- St. Luke; 19- Sts. Isaac Jogues and others

22- St. Pope John Paul II; 28- St. Jude Thaddaeus

I'm praying for you.
